Christina Kelso , Publication Manager

I’m Christina Kelso, a junior communication major with a print journalism specialization and a minor in photography. As a JU student and aspiring journalist and artist, I’m passionate about the expression and student voice The Navigator brings to campus and currently serve as its publication manager.

I have been part of the staff for three years, working in every facet of the paper’s production, as a writer, photographer, layout designer, news editor (2011-12) and managing editor (2012-13).

I have also interned as a lifestyle reporter and photographer for The Florida Times-Union, where I continue to submit work as a freelancer.

When I graduate, I hope to establish a career as an independent multi-media journalist, working as a writer, photographer and videographer for long-form, news publications.
