Rattling the Rattlers

Dolphins Beat FAMU

The Jacksonville University Dolphins took their first win of 2015 by beating the FAMU Rattlers 79-56 at the AL Lawson Center in Tallahassee. The win was also their first road win of the season.

Junior guard Andris Misters opened the scoring for the Dolphins as they opened the game on a 9-2 run. Misters had the hot hand and played a major role ending with a career high of 32 points, 18 of those in the first half.

Misters had help from his teammates, in particular junior Kori Babineaux and sophomore JR Holder, to keep the Dolphins in the lead.

Babineaux opened up the second half scoring, adding to their lead by sinking two layups and a free throw to increase the lead by 9 points.

The Rattlers (0-14) worked hard to fight back but could not stop the potent Jacksonville offense and the hot hand of Misters.

Holder ended the game with 17 points and Babineaux added 15 points as the Dolphins sent the Rattlers back to the drawing board.
