Saucers Review

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.– At Cesery Blvd., in the Eagle Point Plaza is a small restaurant called “Saucers”.

Saucers offers a wide variety of cuisines ranging from healthy salads and wraps to tangy pastas and pizzas.  You can also find various hot and spicy chicken dishes and mouth-watering desserts on the menu.

The name “Saucers” came to be because of the sauces that are made and prepared by the chefs, which are then put on the pizzas or created and made into homemade dinners.  Saucers takes great pride in all their dishes, which they claim are all made from the scratch!

The restaurant offers free delivery within a four-mile radius with a $10 minimum order. It also provides catering services. The restaurant just added a new dining room to give all their customers a more cozy and friendly environment.

“We want to make people feel that when they walk in here, it’s a more relaxed home atmosphere,” says Michelle Gilliland, chef at Saucers. “We want them to feel like it’s walking into their own kitchen.”

The new addition hasn’t been completed yet but the staff feels sure that this is going to bring in more customers. The staff is also very excited about the “pasta nights” and “Friday and Saturday dine-in specials” that they are soon going to offer.

The food at Saucers is delicious and the service is quick. Soon after you walk in you are greeted by friendly faces.

Saucers offers many discounts for students at Jacksonville University including a 10 percent discount on regular menu price. They often send out discounted coupons exclusively for JU students and even accept dolphin dollars.

All in all, Saucers is a nice place to dine in if you are looking for a small, quiet and affordable place with a homely environment.
